Hot Leathers has an interesting backstory. It all started in the 70s, when Jerry Berkowitz, the owner, had a simple helium balloon business. However, his passion for motorcycles led him to transform his business into something more personal. Jerry's love for motorcycles began in high school when he rode his '69 Honda 175. It was during the weekends, when he swapped his Honda for a raked and stretched chopper, that he fell in love with the American v-twin culture. Driven by his desire to cater to the needs of his friends and himself, Jerry decided to make Hot Leathers all about motorcycle apparel. He was joined by a dedicated team of workers who have been with him from the start of the journey. Today, Hot Leathers has grown into a thriving business with over 100 employees. We have an extensive online store and four physical locations, and we travel across the country in our five 18-wheelers, attending 30 motorcycle rallies each year. Additionally, our wholesale business serves dealers across six continents.
